Part of our service is making sure our customers know everything they need to know about the work they’re interested in having done. Scroll down for a few of the most commonly asked question, and let us know if there’s anyway we can help you with your project!
Will I need to leave home during a renovation?
It depends on how much work is being done. All construction is somewhat noisy, while dust and dirt will be created when there's any demolition going on. Drywall installation requires sanding which will create fine dust for a few days. It's a good idea to cover sensitive items like furniture and electronics, and it’s recommended to leave home during the most extensive work. Our team will let you know ahead of time when we plan to do any heavy or prolonged construction.
Is mold or mildew dangerous to my health?
Most molds are not dangerous to humans, but there is evidence that exposure can lead to respiratory problems. Mold will eat away at any surface where it lives, and damage can be extensive. It can also ruin drywall, carpeting, furniture, clothing, and can even cause structural damage to your home. Give our specialists a call if you see mold or mildew in your home and our team will take a look and recommend the best way to make sure it's eliminated.
How long does a typical home remodeling project take?
The timeline varies based on the scope of the project. Small projects like bathroom remodels may take a few weeks, while larger renovations could span several months.
Can I live in my home during the remodeling process?
It depends on the scope of the project. For smaller renovations, living in the home may be feasible, but larger projects may require temporary relocation.
